Default Scroll chuck 95mm. Carbatec - very little use

Wood Turning Chuck Carbatec Set - Outstanding condition with MANY EXTRAS!!

This kit is being offered for a bargain and it contains a great selection of most of the extra jaws that you would want to use in your wood turning. It has had very little use. I used it to turn feet on a few bowls I had made.

Local Pick up and COD Preferred as the kit weighs 5.6kg with no packing.
I will post at the buyers expense which I think would come to around $35, or even more. Australia Post Postage calculator says 34.95 postage + Box.

Auction starts at $50. Pick up is in Oakleigh East, 3166. Buy it now price is $120

Complete set in fitted metal case.

Includes many accessories - some still in the original sealed plastic

    • Carbatec KC96S Scroll chuck 95mm
    • Dovetail Jaws
    • Compression Jaws
    • Screw Point chuck fitting - 2 types
    • Spindle fitting
    • Faceplate ring
    • Cole Jaws set with soft rubber buttons to hold your bowls for turning the foot. 250mm + expanding.
    • T-Bar Allen Keys for adjusting.
    • Spare screws
    • 30X 3.5 threaded insert fitting to match lathe.

This chuck is a 4-jaw Self-centering chuck using the precision, simplicity and reliability of the engineering chuck. It grips externally and internally, will hold square or round work and has a hollow so that through boring can be done from either end.

I found that the internal thread in the adapter was not long enough to seat properly on my Lathe (Jet 1642) so I made a wooden washer for this ( shown in Photos)

This chuck has had VERY little use. I am cleaning out my shed so it has to go.

If the sale to Aargh falls through, I will take it.
