Silkwood Maple Boxmaking pack (I)
Saved by the youngest benchhand (14) from the firewood heap as "too pretty to burn":
Silkwood Maple (Flindersia pimenteliana)
200 x 21 x 500 faces dressed
150 x 21 x 300 " "
150 x 21 x 400 " "
100 x 21 x 600 " "
75 x 21 x 500 " "
75 x 21 x 400 " "
This timber has holes, cracks and splits in places. It's also quite nicely figured and for someone prepared to put a bit of extra effort in it should reward you well.
The kid put a lot of time into recovering this (under adult supervision) and while I don't want to sell a sows ear as a silk purse I'd like to see her get something for her efforts. Call it a $10 start, and if on delivery the winning bidder is really dissatisfied I'll supply something better at my expense.
