Which model is it?
Why is the miter fence track on the other side from the way carbatech have it shown? They are usually to the right of the blade.anne-maria.

I just noticed something else...I have a 17" Carbatec and the slot in the table for removal of blades on mine is at the front. This one shows the slot going directly into the fence guide...how do you replace the blades without having to remove the fence guide.
The fence guide must be on the wrong side as the knobs on the fence face into the blade and should be on opposite face of fence.

I used to own one of these BAS350 saws, it is a good bandsaw but has a few "quirks".
Yes, the fence guide needs to taken off to replace the blade, no biggie, but would have been better to have the slot on the rh side of the table. I put an aftermarket fence on mine, but it still had to taken off.
The fence normally sits to the left of the blade hence the knobs to the left of the fence, the mitre gauge to the right of the blade.
The mitre slots are not a standard size but much narrower so aftermarket mitre gauges don't fit.
