Stainless Steel Rod 1" Diametre
I have a large quantity of used stainless steel rod of 1 inch diametre. It is 1625mm long threaded at both ends. One end the thread is 165mm long and the other end is 65mm long. The thread type is BSF. T o save you doing the maths the unthreaded portion is 1395mm.
The rod is in good condition and in fact for most of it's life it was sheathed in a hard plastic cover, which has since disintegrated. Please note it is 1" and not 25mm.
It also comes with two brass nuts to suit. I have cleaned up one to show just how pretty they look, but you will have to polish your own nuts! The copper nuts in the picture go with the smaller section rod offered separately and the large brass bush goes with the aluminium plate also offered separately.
I am asking $25 for the fully length.
Now postage is a big issue: It is possible, but not really practical. You are welcome to pick up here in Millmerran, but I appreciate not many of you deliberately head this way. I can deliver to Toowoomba and possibly Brisbane, but you will need to contact me first to agree the arrangements.
I am coming down to Sydney (Katoomba) for FenceFurniture's GTG on 20 November. I could bring the rod down with me but you would have to pick them up on the day. You may know somebody who will be attending and you are welcome to make arrangements with them as a further alternative. The rod cannot be stored at FenceFurniture's house.

With this rod, if you want shorter lengths, threaded or unthreaded, let me know as I am prepared to cut some shorter lengths as required. Prices would be close to pro rata, but not quite. Shorter lengths do become more postable of course so this may appeal to some of you.
I would describe this steel as being in all but new condition.
Thank you for looking and look out for my other listings.

No problem Nick.
There is one with your name on it as agreed.

The weight of the full length (1625mm) rod is about 7kg or thereabouts with packaging. I only weighed it on the bathroom scales so not precise at this stage.
If anybody wishes to take the full length but wants it cut into shorter lengths I can do that if you let me know the sizes. This makes the possibility of postage more viable. No extra charge for cutting.

FenceFurniture has kindly offered to store any purchases at his house in Katoomba until collection can be made. Initially I said this was not a possibility because I did not want to impose on him.
Perhaps this facility may make it viable for anybody in the Sydney region.
I don't appear to be able to spell "Diameter" but that is just a technicality!
Lastly, I am prepared to talk turkey with anybody who is after a quantity.
