Default Wanted : Stanley No. 65 block plane (knuckle cap)

Wondering if anyone has a No. 65 Stanley block plane with knuckle level cap that they'd be interested in selling? Not looking for a collectors' piece, just a user in good condition. I can refurb so as long as it's complete with no cracks and the adjustable mouth works then that's fine. Thanks, Mick

I know its the wrong state, but I'd suggest giving Jim Davey a call. He has more user Stanley planes (and bits of Stanley planes) than I've ever seen before in one place....

I'm sure he'll have a user plane to meet your needs, and I can vouch for the fact that Jim does an excellent job of fettling them.

    For example:

    Jim Davey Planes & Sharpening - eShop - Sales - Planes - Stanley Block - 080-401-66S ..... Stanley Block Plane #65 Knuckle-Joint - Standard Stanley Blade

    Cheers

I apologise to those who replied. I got an email response a couple of days after posting so I assumed that I'd receive an email each time there was a response to the thread and hadn't returned to read the thread. Anyway, I guess I'd go up to $100 including postage (to Brisbane) for one in pretty good condition.
