Default SWAP VIC MARC COLE JAWS FOR NOVA COLE JAWS

I have inherited a set of Vic Marc Cole jaws, with the VM scroll jaws attached. (No soft jaw attachments unfortunately).
They will not fit my Nova scroll chucks.
    So looking to swap?
    Anyone.

If not I'll have to buy a set for my Novas and sell these. I thought it might be easier to swap.
    I'll add photos later.

I am not sure on the protocol for this.
nzcarver PM'd me first, then kimba.
Both expressing interest. But I haven't heard back from my reply PMs.
Now pommyphil has too made an offer on this thread and PM.

What is protocol/rules on the forum?

Under the old style system of the market place you had to indicate in the threat your interest and not by way of pm. Many failed to adhere to this to the extent that there where many complaints causing changes to the system.

Whilst the new system improved it to an auction style, but if there is no auction then old protocol IMO is still place and ought to be adhered to.

So go with pommyphil who abided by the rules and made everyone aware of his interest.

make sense to me Pete, but a new member wouldn't know the old convention, so its all up in the air.

i agree with all the above but NZcarver is certainly not new here and I am not sure about Kimba but if you can't et an answe from them I reckon it would be fair enough to go ahead and sell it if you have a buyer that is prepared to do the right thing regarding the sale,

    Just my cents worth

    Cheers Ian

Lyle, I think you may have answered your own question.

As you haven't heard back from the original 2 members that PMed you and Pommyphil has communicated here on the open forum I would go with him.

But in the end it really is up to you as there are no hard and fast rules for swaps.
