Thread: Teknatool lathe 1624-44

Up for sale is my 1624-44 Nova Teknatool wood lathe. This is a one owner lathe, purchased new from carrolls. I was going to keep it as a 2nd lathe but reluctantly,have decided to let it go.
1.5HP AC motor, 8 Speed Range.
Cast Iron and Steel Stand,
400mm inboard swing.
740mm outboard swing.
600mm between centres.
comes with the standard accessories including:
80mm/3" faceplate.
300mm/12" toolrest.
2MT live centre.
2MT spur Centre.
Plus a few extras:
Outrigger for outboardturning.
Jacobs chuck.
A Nova scroll chuck with 100mm jaws. (needs 11/4"x 8TPI insert to suit lathe)

Lathe has a few scratches and some shellawax drips, but is in very good one owner, used condition. pick up only, however if you’re willing to organise your own shipping I'll strap and cover the lathe on a pallet. Minus the pallet, I reckon the whole package would weigh around 130kg. Inspection before sale welcome and encouraged.
