Item: Vicmarc Vl200 6 speed that was converted to electronic variable with a frequency drive (hitachi SJ100) and motor (1.5 kW) from Vermec engineering. Pulleys were also changed to three step pulleys with J10 belts. Three speed ranges 100-1000, 200-2000, 300-3000.

Condition: Mechanically it is in fantastic condition but has some wear cosmetically. When I put in the inverter I cut the opening oversize so there is a gap under the inverter panel and all the switch gear was originally mounted on the stand. Now that all switches are in a magnetic remote box there are some holes in the stand from where they were situated.

I have steel I-beam welded to the bottom of the stand with leveling feet (I'm 6'3 an this was the right height for me) but this can be cut off if required.

Pick-up only (I can arrange for some friends to lend a hand loading it but after that you're on your own)

Reason for sale: I have always wanted a short bed lathe and have the option of upgrading if I can sell this one. If it's not gone before the Melbourne Working with wood show I'll be keeping it as I will not be selling it any cheaper than this!

Extras: If there are any more photos or extra information you require feel free to contact me. Serious buyers can come over and have a turn on it (bring your own wood!)
