Default Woodfast 10 Inch Buzzer/ Jointer/ Surface Planer

    Hey Guys and gals

I bought a 10 inch Woodfast a while back that needed a little bit of work and a coat of paint but didnt do my research as well as I should have.

My plan was to install an inverter, run it in single phase and then also change out the cutterhead to a byrd shellix helical head. When I pulled out the motor it turns out the motor would have to be rewound in order to accept the inverter or just replaced with a single phase motor. Realising this was out of my budget I left the machine disassembled in my garage for a year to mull it over. Now i'm just planning on selling it to recoup at least some of my research mistake as I should have realised this before purchasing the machine.
The only work I've done to the machine is disassemble it, paint the main chassis red and scrape some of the paint off the height adjustment screws as well as remove the motor to check what wind it was. I've also treated a few parts with rust preventative paint.

    The good things:
Tables are flat and true, Cast and Dovetails are in good condition. No cracks in the housing.

There are some faults with the unit:

    * Drive pulley needs to be replaced (looser than it should be I believe)
    * One Grease Nipple Needs to be Replaced,
    * One Grub Screw Needs to be replaced (Lost Head)
    * The 3 ph cable is not connected to a plug as it was previously hardwired into a factory by previous owner.
    * Blades aren't very sharp, nicks in the blade
    * Will need to be tested by an electrician before being operated

At the moment the unit is disassembled as it may be easier to transport like this, but can be reassembled if there is adequate interest.

    Regards,

PICKUP IN NORTHCOTE (8km north of MELBOURNE CBD)- I only have access to Trolleys to move the unit
