    Default Woodfast (I think) Lathe

Cast iron woodlathe on a fabricated steel stand. 3ft or 900 mm between centres, 6 inch swing over bed and about 8" over the "gap". #2 morse tapers at either end and 1"x 8tpi spindle.

It comes with two toolrests, 12" and 6". Two 8" faceplates , one is LH thread for the outboard side.

Drive centre and live centre - the live centre has new bearings.

It currently has a single phase motor fitted but It will also be supplied with a 3 phase motor.

It runs very nicely and everything lines up.

Pick up only, NSW Central Coast. You will need a ute or trailer. The lathe separates from the stand fairly easily but both pieces are still heavy.

It looks like my son's Tough, but Tough were a copy of a Woodfast and son's Tough has "Tough" cast into the headstock . Either way a really good old lathe.

It's a Woodfast. Every school in NSW at least had a stock of these in the 60's.

That casting also appears with 'Hyco' script cast vertically on the headstock belt cover.
Looks nice, I am building a base for a Hyco version for a mate- need to figure out a neat belt change like yours.

Yep. Except for the feet half way down the bed it looks exactly like my hyco.
