Woodturning: HT superflute bowl gouge
This is a Henry Taylor (Sheffield steel) Superflute. In old money the flute width is 1/4". 6mm.
Flute length is 14 cm. Jarrah handle.
HT is quality steel.
Superflutes are sweet to use.
This has a medium swept back grind.
...
Postage negotiated after the auction closes. Pick up is possible. Will do my best to meet your needs but if not agreed after 14 days the gouge will be re-advertised.Cheers, Ern

Note the price drop.
I really don't want anyone to buy this nonetheless
But I have two small P&N bowl gouges (that are a bit of a trial to sharpen given the clunky U'ish flute as I do most of them now just with a platform) and don't really need this one.
The flute's had a bit of polishing with a diamond hone.
Given the shaft diameter and flute length this is not a tool for long overhangs.Cheers, Ern
