Default WTB Grey motor twin carb manifold

An unusual request, in case some one has one from their younger days. I have a friend, who has decided to go back to his younger days, and is after a twin carb Stromberg manifold for his FJ Holden grey motor.

    Hi.
I have one somewhere at a mates place , it comes attached to the standard exhaust manifold also from memory it needs a bit of weld on one inlet gasket face , maybe ask your mate if that will do him and then I will try digging it out and take some pics.

    Hi Jim.
Thanks for that, I'll let him know about it. What sort of dollars would you be looking for it, if it's suitable? Pretty sure it would be, as there is nothing available on Ebay etc.
    Regards,

Forgive me if I am wrong, but the grey motors never came out with a twin carb setup.

The EH was the first of the red motors and the HD/HR had a limited edition model designated as the 'X2'(twin carb).

I doubt whether this manifold would adapt to the old grey and only being 138CID would probably just drown the bloody thing in too much petrol anyhow!.

My next question is, what on earth does this have to do within a woodworkers forum?

    Default Twin carb manifold

The grey motors did not have twin carbs genuine but when speed shops were all the go , there were heaps of after market brands- usually aluminium. I remember having a triple set up with extractors on a FJ.

I know it has nothing to do woodwork!! I just put the question in the market place to find one. Where would you suggest I put in a request, to find an obsolete item?
I put in a WTB for an X2 mini mill, but that has nothing to do with wood work either. I don't see anywhere, that states items must be woodwork related.
I hope you get out of the correct side of the bed tomorrow.

Clearly I am out of order here and my humblest apologies to all concerned.
