That's a shame. I guess a time comes... especially if the saw making was a part-time activity.

He had a good run over 20yrs. Not many people stick at on thing or job that long. It is a shame he couldn't train up and pass on/sell the business.

A pretty good run, and one of the early boutique makers. I got into this hobby after he started, but before most of the other boutique makers arrived. someone will pick up the ball and run with it, maybe not stamping saws with the same make and name, but turning out fairly priced saws like that in volume. If not, I guess LN will eat up the difference.
