    Nah. That's for opening paint cans.

    I can see that a "Nearly slick" is a very useful wood carving tool here in the Pacific Northwest.
    Most of all the various kinds of totem poles have some broad surfaces to be smoothed.
    And of course, the popularity of log home construction.

    For hand pushing, a bevel of no more than 25 degrees still takes a lot of effort.

    I've been toying with the idea of making several of these kinds of wood carving blades.
    It's expected that leaf spring will be the blade metal source.

    Then again, if you were to grind that edge to have 6-8 teeth, it would be just right for ice carvings.
