Shipping
Well thought I would have a go at making one chisel.
Thought I was really smart found some 01 and A2 tool steel
Did some research between A2 and 01
Which has been good to be honest because I was a bit unsure what was what.
Yep decided I like the keen edge ability on 01
Found this America site
online metals.com
Got to check out stage $8US for the stuff I want that sounds good.
$98 for shipping fell off my chair.
God I am green some times lol
Back to reality

I order from Online Metals pretty regularly. If you haven't found another source, and are not on a deadline, I can put it in with my next order and forward it to you via USPS. Not sure how much it weighs or how big it is, but the cost of shipping that way ranges from $16 to $25 for a 1 pound package.

That's a really fantastic offer I may take you up on that in the new year if I can't find it locally
Unfortunately ever one is closing up here for the Xmas period
By the love the saws you make
