As dawn breaks on this day, words are not enough to explain the feelings I have towards those people who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Lest we forget.

We all take our freedom for granted but let us take a few minutes to remember the men and women who died for us to have the freedom that we enjoy in this country today.
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
we will remember them.
Lest we forget.Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

Thankyou to our brave men & women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for us to have a better place to live and raise our kids. Lets hope they too (our kids) appreciate these great deeds for many years to come (always)
Not forgetting those who are still representing us and trying to make the world a better, fairer place for others to grow up in as well. Hopefully one day everyone will have the pleasures we in our great country to enjoy and take for granted.
To our fellow forumites who represented us in the past we really do appreciate what you did for us all without even knowing us when you did it.
Lest we forgetregards

Lest we forget.
A special thought goes out to my uncle that passed away just 2 weeks ago, he was hoping to be in just one more parade, but the cancer beat him. One of the survivors of the Changi railway POW camps.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Lest we forget
Went to the dawn service at Greenbank RSL this morning. Simple and moving.
Apart from the bravery and sacrifice we should also remember the elemnt of futility that always accompanies conflict.
