Thread: My application form for boofhead of the week

Planing some 5.5m Karri boards and call it a day, next day I move the planer a couple of feet to access something else.
Later in the day I resume planing of 5.5m boards.
First board through, all going well until it hits the wall, anyone who has been in my shed knows that I have trouble moving around things and I can't get to planer.
Planer now moving off table along board towards me holding board as end is off roller support, wait for arrival and lean over and switch off hoping hands do not pass through planer.
Realise that supporting 5.5m of Karri and planer is bloody heavy.
Check space in future between planer and wall.
Cut rest of boards to manageable length.

Wake up in morning, hungover or very tired, put sock on right foot, put second sock on right foot, spend 10 minutes looking for other sock.

Mate well done, thats almost as good as the time when I was having problems with the lock on my drivers side, its an old merc and they are quite tricky.

Took the thing out, cleaned it up, greased it all up and the lock was now working fine, the cylinder would turn properly and all.

Only problem now it would not lock the door. So I drive to the nearest wreckers to get a replacement for $160 :eek: thinking I stuffed it up royally, 2 hours later I show the lock to the guy who very kindly pushed on the safety catch (bloody mercs) and there and behold the lock would lock again .

Felt like an absolute @#$%&*^%
