I placed an order with Elraco a few days ago for various items too expensive in quantity at the local hardware store.
I had a call today due to a hiccup with the credit card. Spoke to a gentleman whose name I forget (I was sure he said Steve, but it wasn't) . Sorted the problem out and called Not-Steve back to to try again, all OK*.
He mentioned that some of the items were not in stock so I suggested that he hold the order to save on shipping. 'No worries' Not-Steve replied ' No extra charge for shipping the back ordered item when it becomes available'.
Great customer service. Most places I've dealt with will hit you with another shipping charge when the back order is filled.
Also the credit card wasn't accessed until the order was ready to ship. Another pleasant surprise.

Well Done!

* Now I have to find out who charged a few hundred $$ to my credit card!
