Good idea Samson ... I've just done that with my correspondence as I hadn't sent them one as yet and I think the replacement one from the newsagency is a pretty poor solution due to cost and availability in some areas.

Why not ask for temporary on-line access as compensation. You can download articles as PDF and print off or even save.

I am still waiting for the reply of the 3 emails I sent them. What happened to those emails anyway?

They're ignoring you, Wongo. I hear they are all cat lovers at FWW.

Received this reply this morning - I also opted not to buy here and extend my subscription - I hope this is not a sign of what is going to happen with the Tools & Shops extra magazine - like mine was last year.

Thank you for your reply. This e-mail is to confirm that we have
received your reply and will follow your instructions to replace FWW
#186. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you
again for your interest in Taunton Press publications.

My FWW arrived today - no e-mails necessary. It seems to have been posted in the Dominican Republic !!! Yeah, its the issue with Garry R. pouting at his router bits.

Anyhow, there seems to be a new issue out on Taunton's web site - I wonder how long this one will take to get here?

If you do read this thread Mr Taunton, please note that the number of views at the time of this post is 1,600 which is a sure sign that not just the posters have an interest in the outcome!

    Cheers,

I'm a little curious as to this also, as I have had several US publications delivered via Austria. I'm wondering if there is a scanning device that reads the first few letters and concludes "Aust" must be Austria?
