    Thumbs up Metabo

    Metabo

All too often we hear/experience poor or lip service when it comes to products we purchase. I have no connection to Metabo but would like to share a positive with you all.

At the Brisbane woodshow I bought a small Metabo 26 piece Bit and Wrench set - ideal for getting into those tiny areas when maintaining tools. It wasn't until last week that I needed to use the drivers with the ratchet - unfortunately the small ball bearing which holds the bit was faulty and allowed the bit to drop out.

I emailed Metabo on Friday, received a reply the same day, apologies and offering a replacement set as it was unusual for this to happen. I provided my address details and yesterday, [this is 7 days including a weekend and I live in country Qld] a box was delivered to my door. Inside was the replacement set as promised but also an extra 71 piece set of bits. [Pictures of the 2 sets from Metabo's catalog appear below]

Am I happy - you bet - almost like a dog with 2 tails.

    Regards,
    Bob
