Default Old power tool repairs. Yes or No

Instead of purchasing new power tools made in _____.
I occasionally purchase inexpensive made in the USA neglected power tools.
Repairing the neglected power tools getting them working again is fun.
This $12.00 USD Milwaukee had paint and drywall dust everywhere inside and out. .
This once very expensive Milwaukee sander needed a new power cord, pad and a reasonable cleaning.
Overall the red sander cleaned up pretty good considering the age.
The electric motor runs great. Too bad the dust shroud and bag was lost.
I'll keep watch to see if another shows up anywhere with that obsolete. part..
The $5.00 black Porter Cable orbital sander is very comfortable or ergonomic to use and needed a new pad and a power cord strain relief.
