back min the 50's and 60's a bunch of americans used to burn wood in parks (in the shape of upside down crosses), drink beer and call each other "ol' boy"... mind you they wore white sheets not bow ties and if you introduced yourself as "wood borer" you'd probably earn yourself a columbian necktie for your trouble....
