    Default Thank you ALL

I can't visit here nearly as much as I would like to these days, but I think about these forums and the outstanding members almost every day, even as the months fly by.

It may seem strange, but I would dearly love to offer my sincerest and deep felt thanks to UBeaut for running the forums and to the admins and members who, quite seriously, make this the single best resource (even for off-site links and tips) for Aussies (and the rest) on the web. The community here is spread far and wide around the globe which can open your eyes a little to how things work outside of our little dusty continent.

Quite seriously, I get a little choked up and feel immensely guilty when I think about how many questions I've asked, and about the individuals who have helped me privately, when I visit and post so very little back in return in the way of help for others or to show off the results of the suggested tips and techniques. I feel like I haven't given anywhere near as much back as I've taken...a thousand fold.

I have met some of you in person and have been in awe of your work ethic and simple awesomeness and willingness to help people out or I have been taught and experienced things I would never have had the chance to without you. And I have bought much loved machinery from some you that has allowed me to become a more refined woody in the rare times I've been able to spend in my workshop lately.

    YOU ARE ALL MY HEROES.

To EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU...even if I haven't "liked" or commented on your posts...I have taken so very many ideas and so much information from here that you ALL deserve some recognition and appreciation...even if it's just from crazy lil ol' me. Without you all, I would still be hacking around and making crap from melamine rather than milling my own timber, building dust extractors, understanding the aesthetics of creating with timber and deeply appreciating the work of other woodies from ye olde hand tooling to modern machinery techniques, and even the creation of our own tools.

Unless you can see the sincere tears that well in my eyes when I think about my time in here, I can't stress how much this bunch of, mostly, strangers means to me...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
