    Default Hendey

This Hendey might be a good deal for $1200 ... the seller seems to be lowering the price quite a lot from the starting price .... Mike

I'd go for it Peter, at that price does the transport cost really matter? As long as it is not badly worn. Hendys are one nice lathe, they took a lot of their inspiration from Holbrook.

That lathe is potentially very interesting, for reasons I won't go into. It's a L series spindle which makes it a bit less desirable, but even so, a very interesting machine, especially if the accessories are with it.

If I didn't have a big Monarch, I'd be asking for more photos and seriously thinking of buying it. Any one of you people who want a big lathe, this one is definitely worth a close look.

I don't have a cat but I do have Pom cars and bikes. Also have a tar driveway so the Bitupak is overdue these 15 bags were $12.38. Took a few close up pics of the rest, I'm glad I am now retired as this took a week allthough I will probably be able to sell off enough dross to cover the $ outlayed for what I want for the shed. The 2 metre rule is metric the rest are imperial. Probably sell the Trewellas to a mate up Mudgee. Now have enough Vass for a lifetime. The flam cupboard is the right size for in the shed have, a large one outside. Won a spare full size flam cupboard with all the welding gear I will probably move it on. Same with the lift carts only need one but there was 2 in the lot. The Fuho looks good and is a current model, replaces the old Steelfast. I was disappointed that there was no sign of the Eckold or even a Pullmax or tooling for either of these. A mate served his time at DeHavilland's in the 60s and used both. The only gear of this type was a few Clecos in adrawer, P1050267.JPGP1050266.JPGP1050268.JPGP1050269.JPGP1050270.JPGP1050271.JPGP1050272.JPGP1050273.JPG guess Al went out for carbon fibre years ago. Sorry about the layout still struggle with the 'puta. H.

Yea, once you move the kitty litter, opps supasorb into place you wont need the other lift cart. Pom cars and bikes! Nuff said. Looks like a great score all over. Some good times sorting thru it all and working out what to keep. What's with the motor / pulleys on top of the flame cupboard and the mini lathe looking item on top of the lifting cart? Close ups would be good. I know, I am being nosy.

By the way. This is not a computer forum. Don't sweat it. We would rather see and read about your experiences etc than worry about perfection. There seems to be about a dozen ways to insert pictures. I use the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the compose window or the "Manage Attachments" button below. Some manage to insert both the full picture and the thumbnail. I cannot see the point in that. I prefer the thumbnails only as I have a satellite connection which is not as fast as most and I like to reduce my downloads/uploads.

The "mini lathe" looks to be a motor drive system for flat belt pulleys.

It looks very similar to one Schaublin made.

Can we have some details on that?

    Cheers
