Tis looks like it could be a handy vise for any machine (not the shaper). The seller cannot open the jaws though. He unscrewed the clamping bolt but the jaws bind when he tries to open them by hand. Does anyone know how these are operated? I wonder just how many drilling/milling craters it has.

Why not the shaper Greg. I would've thought it would have been perfect for the shaper.

Well, maybe the larger sizes would be great on a shaper. But I don't own one, so I wanted to discourage those who do.

Probably, especially since I failed to lie about the condition. I find that I have lost my sense of fair value.

I have an imp set from CDCO, they wring together fine and although the B grade allows 50 u/in the worst deviation is about 30, according to the certificate anyway.

I have been wondering how good they were but figure for my work they would be easily accurate enough. Not something I need to use a lot but good to have for when I do.
    Cheers from Micheal.
