    Default Help Identifying Timber

    Gday guys,

Firstly, Apologies if this is in the wrong place.
Is anyone able to offer advice as to what the timber (pics attached) might be?
I obtained a heap from an industrial yard a while back, fairly short lengths, I believe was used as packing or dunnage for heavy loads in the yard and on trucks.
Its quite hard and very heavy but I have no idea what it is.
    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
