    Default Help in identifying wood?

I have an old 1950's Singer sewing machine, that has a solid wood cabinet, it is not veneered. I have been told it might be Rosewood, Walnut or Mahogany. Now I'm really confused.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. 20210112_182144.jpg20210112_182210.jpg20210112_182255.jpg20210112_182352.jpg20210112_182542 (2).jpg

Looks like a home made one to me, Qld Maple is my guess, but photos are deceptive.

    Don’t think it’s walnut.

+1 on QMP. Nice non-traditional style & also looks custom for a left hander.
