Default Timber identification from central or nth Qld

Looking for an ID please. A mate has removed over 200 linear mtr of this timber as perlons from the roof of his old shed. The original owners had sawmills at Bondoola near Yeppoon and another in nth QLD so he suspects a northern species. over 50+ yrs old. guessed density between 650-750.20190522_154531 timber sample.jpg20190522_191338 timber endgrain.jpg

I agree, it does look like Tulip Oak .. but density is a bit low. Most Tulip Oaks are denser ... typically 800-900 kg/ m3
