Looks a bit like a rambutan - most of which are red, bit they can come in all sorts of colours from yellow to orange to green the usual red. What inside those pods?

Not a Rambutan, we have them too, the red spiky fruit is heart shaped.
I don't have a name for it, google images comes up with a couple of exotics try this, Lipstick tree (Bixa orellana).Cliff.
