Braking bad.
The brake rod and associated components had seen better days, plus Yamaha's idea of of a clevis and brake anchor left me a little underwhelmed, so I broke out some stainless and aluminium stock and revamped the lot: Clevis was rubbish so I machined a new one on the Mill. Brake rod was renewed with a 6mm stainless rod threaded both ends. Stainless adjuster nut and pivot were turned up on the lathe and Yamaha's ugly duckling anchor was binned and a new one fabricated from 10mm aluminium which was cranked to clear the tyre and drilled both ends for 12mm stainless Allen heads.
