My friend Warwick sent me some photos that I thought might be of interest here.
They show how he used his Bridgeport mill to do some tests on his Laycock OD unit, attached to the Vauxhall's gearbox.
The mill provides the rotating drive, with the table handy for mounting it all onto.

The Vauxhall benefits from this addition, because it has a replacement cylinder head that makes more power.
The Bridgeport was much used to machine the new head from a raw casting.
