I went to the Ballan Great Vintage Rally on the weekend and one of the exhibitors had a selection of old paperwork that had been saved from going to the tip when the old Ronaldson Tippett factory had been cleared out. Among the paperwork was a pile of Machinery magazines, a periodical dedicated to engineering machinery printed by the Machinery Publishing Co Ltd of London so I bought a few copies. The magazine, from the 1930's, is basically full of advertising for British machine tool companies along with articles on innovations, practices and stats from the industry.

Some folks on here might be interested in these so here's a few scans of some of the contents.
Cheers,
Greg.
