Default 3 phase motor failure on wadkin table saw

Simple explanation is that my old wadkin PP table saw saw wont start. After a bit of detective work with the multi meter have found that one of the motor's coils has gone open circuit.
So the question is whether to have it rewired of put a new motor on the saw. Replacement would mean non genuine part.
Does anyone know of, have experience with motor rewiring service? Tas or Melb preferred.

I have had an Italian 3 phase motor rewind done here on the Sunshine Coast, which cost me $800, but it was a 2 speed motor with a tap in the windings, so more expensive than a standard single speed. I went that route because of the frame size.

I did enquire about a motor rewind a few years ago. It was a straight forward 3HP 3-phase motor for an old Aussie 3-phase machine. I vaguely remember they said it'll be about $400 - $600 for a rewind here in Brisbane.

    Thanks Charlie / Cam
Pulled the motor out of the saw today and it may not be overly serious. One of the connection wires had broken/burnt out just inside the cover, between the connection block and the coil. Checked the resistance across the offending coil and the actual coils check out OK. Resistance across the 3 windings of the motor are nigh identical. The insulation on some of the other connecting wires, between the block and the windings are showings signs of perishing. Dropped the motor off at a local sparkie this arvo so if the insulation on the windings appears OK and with a few new connection wires and it'll be good for another 60 years.
