    Default Adjustable Table Table Saw

    My neighbor told me about a table saw that he has at his camp where the blade stays stationary and the table moves up and down to adjust blade height. Anybody know anything about these? I want to make a device to drill concentric holes in various size dowel rods from one of these.

    See if you can get some pics.... I know Thornley made a saw like that... the table had a rack that raised it when you turned the hand wheel

    As did Wadkin, and I think Sagar and Robinson. Probably most of the old English manufacturers did.

    Thanks Vann.....I would imagine a lot of the larger saws were adjusted that way back in the day... the engineering would have been simpler
