Nice work!
Not the same model but I too have a L.S. Barker bandsaw. I was fortunate enough to be given it by a joinery place on the Sunshine Coast. Needs a lot of work but am up for the challenge! It's tilting mechanism is per video below which I quite like. What is interesting is the top wheel pivots and can move anywhere from 90° to about 100°, I assume this is a feature to auto calibrate the blade if it where to track slightly out?
I was up your way the other day. I picked up an old Crescent 36" bandsaw in Hervey Bay and whilst up that way found myself a McPherson 32" in Maryborough - was a bit of a mammoth day in bringing it back to Brisbane!
You live in a bit of a wood working hub up there? Do you ever come across some other older gear especially a Wadkin PK, Wadkin MF (or a chain & chisel Thomas White/Robinson for that matter) or Wadkin RS by any chance?
