8 lathes Sam. All pretty much different from each other. A couple are out of action ATM . Like a tiny one that I haven’t had a need for since I got a larger metal working Hercus. And a huge faceplate turning lathe I built out of pieces from other machines and haven’t had the space or need to use it since the move.
This is a link to that.

And this one below. The Goldie is a copying machine . Sort of a lathe that is included in my count.

That’s just been moved into its final position I hope.

You can see why I moved to a place with plenty of space.

The latest motor addition was giving me some trouble and running backwards for some unknown reason.
That's so it can cut the twists in the other direction.

Great find, and I'm really admiring the way you're getting it set up.

Five . Two that are working in the workshop back to back. Wadkin PK and Wadkin Bursgreen 10 AGS . Two that are skeletons of their former self that I bought cheap for parts. Just the Rip fence. A really great fence that I used on the Bursgreen restoration and the other one I used on the Wadkin DR bandsaw. They came off an old Melbourne make called the Wellcome saw. And I have a large Wolfenden Rip 20 or 22 inch blade that I doubt Ill use that was a gift.
Band saws four. Two working in the workshop.
    Mortisers six . Three working.

The list goes on with buzzers 4. Spindle moulders 4. Thicknessers 2. All with one working in the workshop.
Radial arm saws 3. 2 working.
I bought or traded my way up in quality with all these things and never sold off the older lesser quality models.
Its easier to just push them to one side and cover them up. Ive got to start selling stuff off though.

It'll do that with a gear change but the motor was a strange problem that the electrical guys couldn't solve. Broken or faulty parts most likely. It was single phase piece of junk that was falling to bits. When I got it off and spun the spindle the bearings sounded very bad as well.

It's basically had a wipe down and a go over with linseed Oil and turps oil wash so far. Next step is making a traveling steady that supports the turning timber as it gets cut.
