Default Treadle Lathe + Spindle Moulder

    UPDATE -
Please address any further enquiries to Nicky - 0429 138 332. She's in Bundaberg and has any futher info you may need, and you have to haggle with her!
We have also unearthed a SPINDLE MOULDER, there is a tin of bits/cutters...an it's a little bit worse for wear.

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in acquiring a Treadle Lathe.
It was "found" in my mum's shed while we've been sorting out her estate. According to my brother it needs the belts, but moves quite freely considering the age of the thing.
I'd love to be able to say it's "free", but we have estate stuff to sort out so....open to offers(?)

PS It's located in Bundaberg QLD.

I'd be interested also but getting it to QLD could prove a problem. It sure needs a lot of work what sort of $ are you after?

The lathe is in Bundaberg, so transport is easier for you...

I live in Bundy and while I'm not interested in purchasing this I can offer to temporarily store it to enable the estate to be wound up, thus giving the new owner time to arrange shipping etc. Another option might be the weekly Tenders Centre Auctions we have up here.

Thanks for that offer Chief Tiff,
That might come in handy for anyone who wants to check it out.

Not an issue really....last time I went to Bundy was about 7 weeks ago. spent 4 weeks there and brought home a trailer full of antique/vintage furniture, five tubs of handles, screws, fittings, etc. I'm sure we could work out something if it came to that.
