F J Edwards wood lathe English made.
Grays had a few workshop clearance sales ending yesterday.
There was what they described as a disc sander at the Nowra sale.
Looks like it went for $9 plus their extra fees etc.
Ive googles F J Edwards and it looks like they made sheetmetal gear.
There is a photo but no info re a planer on OWWM.
Interesting looking lathe, has anyone seen a complete one?
I would probably have bought it but up to my eyeballs in the RS repaint etc.
It has the motor lift foot pedal and a gear lever on the front.
Looks to be vee belt driven.
There was 20 or more boxes of ‘assorted goods’ so possibly other bits were there.

So no bed, tailstock or tool rest? Would have been an interesting machine to make some sort of bowl carving setup out of.
Thanks for posting!
Cheers
