    Default Identify these lathe parts

    Hi..
    Picked up these lathe parts recently.. .. the faceplate is 310mm in dia.. I notice the head and the tailstock are different heights. can anyone identify what machine they may have belonged to ?.

    Looks home-made to me too.

    The faceplate intrigues me, though. Are those threaded rods captive (ie. freewheeling) or tapped into those brackets? From the pix they don't appear to be captive.

    If they were they'd be handy for an independant jaw set, but if not... well... I can't see any real reason for them. They make no sense structurally to me.

    Skew ChiDAMN!!..the bolts are not captive !!...I am sure I have seen this set up before..
