Default PaulCall Radial Arm Saw.... looking for manuals/info/Parts

    G'day all.

I've recently come into possession of a "60's" PaulCall Radial Arm Saw.... 3/4 arbor and missing the outer flange to hold the saw blade (it was also missing the left hand thread nut.... but I've managed to find a replacement) it runs and all the bearings, rollers and rails seem in great condition!

I'm mostly hoping that someone here might have some info on it and might also know where (or have) the flange might be acquired... without the flange I'm not able to properly fasten the blade in place.

I'm in Melbourne (Australia) and would love to restore this machine to working order.

    Any help/guidance greatly appreciated

    Cheers

    Swiss

You won't find a manual I've been down that road, the flange will have to be custom made, there simply is no spares around for these, I can measure the flange on mine if that is any help, any competent metal turner could make one,
it is a pretty simple task, if you are au fait with radial arm saws you won't need a manual it is all straight forward.

Oh Dimensions would be really cool. Thanks.

My Grandad would often say "No harm in asking"...

I got the radial arm saw in place of getting a table saw...

So imagine my annoyance when I discovered how rare the tiny part would be...

    Your help is appreciated.

Any one recommend a Melbourne machinist who might be capable.

I reckon it's probably machined out of cast iron as well. You can get small lengths of Ductile Grey Cast Iron off Flea Bay at reasonable costs.
