    Default SCM S50 Knife grinder

    Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a SCM S50 Knife Grinder. It may be that someone has one lurking in the shed that doesn't fit anything they have and would be better off on a good old machine.

It may be exactly the same part on a S63 thicknesser.

So if you have one collecting dust let me know please.

    Cheers from Micheal.

I have one as well on my S630 but need another for my brothers S50.

I fitted mine with a 400 grit Diamond wheel which leaves a beautiful finish on the knives.

Also made myself a knife height gauge for checking while setting knives into the head and for grinding.

Nice gauge you've made and I bet that Diamond wheel is well worth the investment, I will be looking to sell my S50 now that I have the 24" Wadkin's

They are a very good machine and built to work.
