Thomas Robinson Saw?
Hi All.
Can anyone recognise this Thomas Robinson Saw?
I have the possibility to pick it up for free but IÂ’m not sure if itÂ’s worth it or not.
I donÂ’t know whatÂ’s missing or if part would be a available or findable?
Any help is appreciated.
Regards
Pittwater Pete.

Sorry, but that’s all the pics I have.
The No. 219 painted on the base. Is that a clue as to where it has come from? I’ve seen a pic with the same painted numbering on a machine from, if I remember correctly, a train workshop in Launceston. But That may not be right at all.
Thanks
Pete

You won't find any parts for something of that age it will be a case of, seeing what is required and making or having made

Matty, do you know for how many years they may have sold this saw.
Just trying to date it.
Haven’t even got it yet but I find it interesting.

All good Pete, l find the history fascinating as well .
Your saw is interesting, it does not appear in the late 1800s catalogs, but does appear in the 1909, but not in any of the 1920s catalog, a different model appears ..
