That’s a very nice RE, you don’t often see them come up for sale. I wish I was I’ve t there I have a nice Wilson bandsaw I would swap for that. If you or the buyer wants more blades I have a spare set from when I had my FE thicknesser

I would be interested in a spare set of blades, also moulding cutters for the block, should be good for skirtings and architraves (torus profile)

    Default Thornley Thicknesser

In the Gray's auction last week where I missed out on the Robinson Spindle Moulder there was also a Thornley Thicknesser. Apparently they are an Australian made brand (that I wasn't aware of). It was knocked down for $300 (so ~$390 with Buyer's Premium and GST and misc charges). It needed a bit more work that the spindle moulder but it may have been largely surface rust removal. Anyway I took some screenshots as it looked like a nice bit of kit and here they are.

Good question, I'm not sure. It wasn't featured in the auction so that's the only picture of it.
There was a massive Robinson bandsaw in the auction too. It knocked down for $5,500 but would have almost cost that much to move!

    Default Bsw 650

Yes you need a pit in the floor for those big bandsaws, but a great machine if you can put it to use.

Regarding rip saws I have this much newer one that I am still working on when I get time.
