There is a DN for sale on FB Marketplace at the moment. I am looking to make a mobile base for mine much the same as this one when I restore it. I've made one for my PK out of 10mm thick angle iron - I've currently got the body attached to it and hope that it can take the weight without bending when I place the tabletop on it!

Just something to think about .
IMHO . With that method each machine requires a set of wheels. A brake or two. Or something that suits the job like wedges. And fabricating in steel.
It’s cheaper, looks neater and is easier to Fabricate in timber. No wheels or brakes. And use one pallet Jack to move everything. The pallet Jack lives under the most seldomly used machine and doesn’t use up much space.

Plus any fittings for dust extraction can go from machine to brackets on the timber base and you just unhook the pipe and the fittings with blast gate stay attached to the machine.

    And more stable too IMHO.

I've started doing the same at the railway society I volunteer at once a week. Here is a 255kg Wadkin CK radial arm saw I recently acquired for use there.

And I'm currently making a pallet to take the Wadkin MG mortiser they own.

I'd likely do the same at home if I had a pallet jack of my own (and the space ).

    Cheers, Vann.

I saw that, up in Gundi, good price.
I don’t need it but pity he hasn’t put a frontal view up.

I'd be tempted if it wasn't so damned far away.
And if I had a bit more room!
Currently looking for a bigger shed in inner Melbourne...

I’m tempted too but maybe I’ve finally realised I don’t need a larger bandsaw than my 20”
    Bursgreen.
I do have access to a Lugano resaw and a 36” DR.

I did buy a power hacksaw last week
$100 and it works sweet, Oz made in the 60s.

There’s a 30” all cast iron Wadkin Bursgreen BZB on Facebook in nth Queensland.
In my opinion these were one of the few Bursgreen machines equal to Wadkin.

Nice, although I prefer the visible cast frame from a looks perspective.

I've been on a bit of an acquisition streak in the last 6 months Henry. When I get a moment, and better access for photography (I've had to store some stuff at my son's place!) I'll post some images.
A quick list of items bought since the Wadkin CC includes:
    A Leland-Gifford drill press ($62.50)
A fully cast, single body 20" meat saw sadly minus the cast table ($90)
    A 12" Ezycut metal cutting bandsaw ($62.50)
A White Spindle Moulder with power feed ($290)White Spindle Moulder.jpg
    A SCM L'invincible combination sliding saw/spindle moulder/tenoner ($280)
A pallet truck ($80) to act on Rob's pallet based theory of portability!
A couple of 3 phase floor standing grinders ($75ea)

Thats some nice goodies! There was a Robinson moulder that went on the Gold Coast for $800 which was pretty sweet but am flat out of space.

I think this is the better way to go - I am looking at this approach as being slightly more convenient thou as everytime you need to fetch (or dig out) the pallet jack. I've got a double garage so once setup I am likely to push a couple of machines into corners out of the way. Not saying things would move too frequently but sure would be nice to just push them into space as required.

It looks like it's been dropped at some point in it's life and repaired, so not sure how much tension you could put on the blade.
