Default Wadkin ME Mortiser 4 Sale - Lilyfield, NSW

    Wadkin ME Mortiser

They are probably getting used less and less because of CNC machines but still have a place depending on what your doing. Will likely shoot up over the course of the day before the auction ends but perhaps someone here gets lucky. Looks like it's got some tooling too which is a bonus. That auction has some other goodies too

That went for a decent price to someone from Vic... road trip!

It seems a bit funny, during COVID it seemed prices for machinery went nuts. Now you can pickup stuff at more reasonable prices from my observation. Is this a sign of the tide turning? Have people slowed their spending with interest rates and cost of living increases.

I did see that PP - good price. It hasn't sold in a couple of weeks & it's at a decent price!

Yes the PP's don't have the same following like the PK's, but there depth of cut is deeper on the PP which many joinery shops at the time were asking Wadkin to improve.

I guess all these years later people just like the shape of the PK's better.

It does seem cheap at $2.5K when this seller is wanting $6.5K and there doesn't seem to be that much difference in condition.
