Default Look what's coming? New, to me, Wadkin!

I bought this a while ago but wasn't able to pick it up due to space constraints.
The space constraints haven't eased but the vendor needed the room! It is now in 5 pieces across 3 locations, 6 if you count the cupboard fool of tooling!
Hopefully I'll land an off site space soon and be able to deploy some of my machines into a space where I can work on them and use them!
It has taken me a full three days to pick up, move and unload this across Melbourne testing a small trailer to its limits.
Meantime enjoy the tension waiting for more images of this beast.
    Cheers,
    RG

Awesome - if it's the one I am thinking of that is indeed one hell of a buy and in Australia unlikely to come up for sale again with all the tooling!

Interesting bit of kit but what will you use it for?

I'm sure that I'll think of something... maybe something big.
I just checked the list mapping test numbers to the year of manufacture. It was built in 1955. Interestingly that's the same year as my RU Lathe was made must have been a good year for patternmakers buying capital equipment in Australia!

    Cool

I saw one on sale in the US a couple of weeks ago for USD7,500 (AUD11,250). It made me feel better about what I paid.

I'll bet. That thing must weigh a ton (today's understatement).
