Love the pencil sharpener.
With regard to the rotary shooting board, we had a huge one for squaring up mounted printing plate boards. We always used extremely expensive plywood from the USA and to ensure the mounted printing plates would fit into the form work, they had to be absolutely square and of course, correct size. Our unit was capable of squaring up a broadsheet newspaper single page, which is huge.
Our unit was specifically manufactured for the printing industry in Germany and was brought out in the sixties. The best work it did was when a new sharp blade was inserted and was aligned correctly to the machined table edge with a clearance of one sheet of 100gms paper. Awesome machine with our end of year party trick being to trim ones finger nails...

Didn’t General make a rotary planer over there ?
Im sure there was one at Sheridan colleague when I visited there in ‘83.
I scored a printers bole an Oz made one not German and with each revolution it chopped about a 1/4” off the job.
It was so scary I glued an MDF disc onto it and used it as a sander.
