    Default Woodfast SS

While I was fitting a new switch to the drill press today I was looking around for something to cut the hole in the box lid for the switch.
    This switch 20171221_201808.jpg

There is not a lot of room for error with these switches and mounting them can be a bit fiddly.
Then I spied something that might work

A new, to me, Woodfast 24" Scroll Saw. I've had this for a while but it has been in storage and I have never even turned it on.
An excellent piece of Aussie engineering. Made short work of the switch cutout.
I'm finding the blade holders a bit fiddly. It is a bit difficult to locate the pin on the blade in the matching hole in the clamp. It has to be lined up blind. Any tips scroll saw gurus?
Those were the droids I was looking for.

One of the last machines I want to buy, love these things. Hoping to find a Woodfast or Hyco soon, thanks for posting!
