    Default Woodfast Universal Woodworker

    Hi there,

I have just joined the Woodwork Forums and have already found very useful information about Woodfast vintage machinery. I am thinking about purchasing a Woodfast universal Woodworker. I am not sure about the particular unit but I believe that it changed over its production run. Is there a list of the various model changes over this period of time?
I have found a manual for it and I believe it is an F525 Universal Woodworker.

Can anyone in this forum please let me know if the accessories, spare parts that were made for it are easy to purchase (Band saw, Disc Sander, Morticer, .....)? If anyone has particular experience of this model, I would love to hear your experiences with this machine (good and bad). Thanks in anticipation for your help.

The machine is long out of production ( Woodfast no longer exist ) and there are no off the shelf parts or accessories available you may be lucky and source some second hand items, would be a case of repairing what you have eg replace bearings etc. all the early Woodfast machines are of high qualityy

Have a look at Anorak Bob's restoration of one over in the Tablesaws and Combinations subforum if you want to see just how far a restoration can go. Cheers, Zac.

I restored one last year It Followed Me Home, Can I Keep It? - Woodfast Universal Woodworker
I haven't been able to find any of the attachments yet. I'd love to get my hands on the lathe & morticing attachments.

    Default Woodfast F525 repairs

Gday, this is a bit of a long shot but did you eventually get a Woodfast F525? I’ve just acquired one in pretty good Nick except for a jammed table lift. If you found any manuals that would allow me to trouble shoot this I’d be very grateful

    cheers
