Well done both of you. I would really love to come along to Matt's GTG.

There are only two things stopping me: I am 1493.2Km away and secondly I will be at work. Other than that.....

Pretty lame excuses really, Paul when you think about it.

Seriously I am sure you will be with us in spirit. We will miss your expert input though.
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

    Paul,

If it would help, I can call the power plant and tell them you lied on your CV.
    Would that help?

I feel like a complete slacker here not promoting this.
But in all fairness I think I’m just providing catering next weekend.
Seeing how expertly these two gentlemen(Benny and Doug)are going.
I know I will be just shadowing there awesomeness.

    Absolutely top stuff guys.[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

    Cheers Matt,
Right at this moment that would not help much. You will still be 1493.2Km away!

    Paul,
To be perfectly frank and honest your negative fives are really not needed.
I’m feeling the glass is being viewed half empty.
1493.2 km will only take effort on the first step the rest will follow.
Just smell the flowers and drift on down man.

    Matt

Was that negative vibes? If so, I am humbled and cringe before you, but on the subject of vibes, if you have not seen the film "Kelly's Heroes" you really should. Starring a whole host of cult actors, the hippy tank commander, played by a hirsute and goggled Donald Sutherland, probably steals the show and may have been the first human to utter the phrase "negative vibes." Or was it Dylan off the "Magic Roundabout?"

    Cheers Matt,
And shooting psychedelic paint instead of shells. My memory is that the tank itself it had enhanced performance so they could escape conflict and in particular it reversed very impressively. It is actually the only film I deliberately went to see twice at the cinema. Just think what Sergeant Oddball could have done if he had had access to bluetooth technology.

    Oddball,
    A fantastic nickname,
I think your right Paul, the tank was tweaked a little bit from the “army surplus supply”
An I think it came up against a German Tiger tank in part of the film, but was able out run it just.
Oddball today with Bluetooth, no please don’t say that, they will make a re run and ....... a good movie.

    Cheers Matt.

The fires were manly in Bunkers Hill about 12 km from were we are.
Lots of smoke for us, plus keeping an eye on the CFA app.

The fire is out now,so all good,

    Matt,

We discussed if I was going to bring my mobile workbench up for the day. Still happy to bring it if it is needed. Just let me know.

Is there a recommended list of tools, etc we should bring?

And of course - Who is attending at this stage, now that Paul has to go to work.

    Doug.
I don’t think you will need your mobile workbench.
At this stage it is yourself , Benny, and myself !!
Three wise amigos, so we can decide to sit out the back on the BIG table, should be enough room [emoji849].
Or we can cram into the creative zone(I have to clean up a bit).
Tools wise it seems you and Benny have done pretty good job on ruffling our your handles all ready.
So ,I would suggest ,rasps ,files ,sander ,paper would be good.
I have my small trim router if you want some timber taken off quickly around the tote.

    I have enough vices(No that’s not funny [emoji23])
    To use for work holding.

Can’t think of anything else at this moment, but I’m waiting for my caffeine levels to balance out after the evenings sleep lol.

    Cheers Matt.
